Devotees from ISKM Singapore have distributed 300 packets in Little India and 100 packets of Prasadam for the visually hadicappedof Prasadam during Deepavali. With the kind donations of our patrons, we hope to do more of these distributions on a weekly basis.
What is Prasadam? After offering good eatables to the Lord, the fully spiritualised food taken by devotees is called Prasādam. Prasadam is also called the mercy of the Lord. So whoever partakes in the Prasadam does not get contaminated in this sinful material world. The material world is full of contaminations, and one who is immunized by accepting Prasādam of the Lord (food offered to Viṣṇu) is saved from the attack, whereas one who does not do so becomes subjected to contamination.
