Prasadam Seva(Sanctified Vegetarian Food Distribution Sponsorship)
Other than the distribution of the holy names of Krishna and the supreme spiritual knowledge contained in the Vedic literatures, our other significant contribution to the society is the distribution of Prasadam — sanctified nutritious vegetarian food. By partaking of Prasadam, one’s material hunger is certainly satisfied but more importantly, one also purifies one’s existence. As the adage goes, you are what you eat. When one eats foodstuff which is offered first to Lord Krishna, one eats pure, sinless or karma-free food and such action eventually manifests in one’s consciousness, behavior and life.Everybody needs it — poor and rich.
Your contribution will support the Prasadam distribution both:
On the event day, which itself is gargantuan (10-course meal for 15,000 people, totally free).
Our perennial distribution to the needy and less-fortunate — to low-income families, welfare homes and on-premise feeding program to the tune of about 1,500 meals a week and expanding, provided the facilities and finance.
Transportation of old folks to stadium
Free mineral water for attendees
Provisions and Groceries
Rental and purchase of cooking facilities and equipments
Making of Sweets
Perennial daily free food distribution service

His ever-blissful spiritual form is beyond the reach of our blunt material senses. But out of His sheer mercy, the infinite Lord agrees to take on a Deity form
which we can see and touch just in order to purify us by giving us a chance to worship Him by offering Him various paraphernalia.

The main ritual in the celebration of Ratha Yatra is the pulling of the chariots to the accompaniment of kirtana (congregational chanting of the Lord’s holy names). Pulling of the Lord’s chariots is very auspicious and invokes unbounded blessings of Lord Jagannatha. It is stated in Skanda Purana that the sanctity of the festival is such that just touching the chariot or even the ropes with which the chariots are pulled is considered enough to confer abundant auspiciousness and immense blessings to the effect that one’s place in the abode of the Lord is guaranteed.
