Below is a video – short snippet from China. There is more footage to come from China soon. This is just one of the many programs conducted in a 10-day preaching tour organized by ISKM China.
His Grace Sundar Gopāl Prabhu, along with Vraja Kiśora Prabhu and his wife from the Philippines were invited to conduct programs in South and Central China.
ISKM China leaders Labaṅga Mātājī and Nimāi Nitāi Prabhu have prepared all the groundwork and for these programs. They have started developing a rapport with interested people in the yoga space and also generally through the Chinese social media app WeChat.
In this particular video, what we see is a massive kīrtana and seminar on bhakti-yoga in Henan province in East-Central China.
About 150 people attended the program where there was a 20-min bhajana, a 20-min class on Kṛṣṇa and how to go to Him through the process of bhakti-yoga, especially by chanting the simple Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra.
The audience just loved it and were actively participating in the whole session which included even chanting ślokas from Bhagavad-gītā.
Finally, they all had a big kīrtana on the rooftop of that yoga studio and everyone danced happily and chanted Hare Kṛṣṇa. Cookies prasādam was distributed to everyone present.
By programs like these, we can understand that there is a lot of scope for spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness in China. There are a lot of people who are hungry for it.
If given enough facility, this Harināma Saṅkīrtana movement can effect complete peace between India and China.
In an article in the Back To Godhead magazine by Śrīla Prabhupāda in 1944, he said that India’s rich cultural and religious heritage centred around Kṛṣṇa consciousness offers complete solution to all world’s problems and as such all countries of the world should be invited to exploit India’s spiritual resources and by such exploitation, they will become completely happy in all respects.
This is the only authentic way that world peace can be achieved. Trying for it without God consciousness is just a daydream.
